So many new bands I discovered lately that I absolutely love (ASG, Baroness, to name but a couple), and on every youtube page someone compares these bands to Mastodon... I fucking hate Mastodon, I find their music bland and uninspired yet I love the aforementionned bands, and other than the fact that they are from the same scene I find no common point whatsoever between these bands and Mastodon... They have to be the most overhyped ever, great musicians who can't write inspired music.
